Surface modification of biopolymers with metallic and/or metal oxide nanoparticles for biocide and/or catalytic applications. Their characterization by electronic spectroscopies: X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and high resolution electron energy loss spectroscopy (HREELS).
