Bioprocess intensification through miniaturization. Focus in the development of enzymatic and whole-cell based processes with application in food and pharmaceutical areas and in the production of chemicals from renewable resources.  Immobilizations of enzymes and whole cells. Design and operation of mini- and microreactors.
