Activities
My scientific interests are focused on the development and characterization of biodegradable nanocarriers to be incorporated in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical or cosmeceutical formulations for the targeted release of bioactive substances. More specifically, in the encapsulation of active ingredients with commercial interest into nanostructured lipid carriers (NLCs) and nanoemulsions (NEs) based on the miniemulsions technology and in the incorporation of this nanocarriers into secondary vehicles to improve stability and facilitate its application.
