Research Activities
My research is focused on the development of bacterial proteins and peptides as anticancer agents. In particular studies aiming to elucidate the cellular and molecular effects of azurin from P. aeruginosa on cancer cells. I am also interested in exploiting gene/genome engineering tools for cell-based therapies of cancer.
